West Coast Propellers Pty. Ltd. provides support for the Private, General Aviation and Light Commercial Aviation Propeller market.
We are almost 100% self sufficient and only sub contract out minor specialist functions such as Cadmium Plating and alike. We use West Australian Companies in the first instance for any out sourced work. We repair and overhaul reciprocating engine Propeller Constant Speed Units, Propeller De-ice Systems as well as the Propellers themselves. We also supply new Propellers and CSU's as / where required. |  |
 | WCP can cater for certain " in - situ " inspections and repairs on wing. We can also arrange pick up and delivery of most propellers as required and not just Propellers in the Metro area. In more remote area's we can arrange for freight services to carry out this function if required. Non Destructive Testing / Non Destructive Inspection is also another service we can offer in the Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Eddy Current disciplines. These can be released iaw the current CASA Civil Aviation Orders and / or the ASTM-E requirements and specifications as the need may be. |

WCP is fully approved for Composite Blade Repair and Overhaul by Hartzell and again is one of only two such shops in the Southern Hemisphere. We cover repairs, overhauls and supply of most Hartzell Propeller CSU's and cover the entire range of Hartzell's Reciprocating Engine and Turbo Prop Propellers. McCauley: WCP is one of a few Propeller shops in Australia to be approved by McCauley. We cover the entire range of McCauley CSU's and Propellers ranging from the basic fixed pitch unit's, Reciprocating Engine and the latest Turbo Prop. Series Propellers. We also carry McCauley De-ice Hardware and De-ice Boots.
MT Propellers: WCP is one of only two Propeller Shop's in Australia to cover ALL the MT Propeller range of Propeller Propellers and CSU's. We are MT Propeller Approved and a listed distributor. We cover both electric and hydraulic actuated Propellers.
PCU Propeller Governors: WCP is also an authorized agent for the new PCU CSU. We carry parts in house and have the factory approved tooling as required to effect PCU Overhauls.
Sensenich: WCP is an authorized distributor for Sensenich Propellers.

Under our CASA Approval we can cater for most propellers including Fairey Reed, Dowty Rotol, Aero Composite, Hoffman etc. as required. In some cases there are specialist shops that cover vintage Aircraft Propellers and in such cases WCP will direct customers to these as cost wise, dealing one to one with these shops, may be in your best interest. |
